Midwest Animal Blood Services, Inc. promotes the practice of quality transfusion medicine by all members of the veterinary medical team. Quality blood components for nonhuman species are provided economically throughout the United States. We strive for balanced donor pool through use of in-house random source adoptable donors and owner-volunteered pet donors. Immunohematology services support the efforts of veterinary professionals worldwide to perform state-of-the-art transfusion medicine. Education through publication, on-site instruction and presentations train new and practiced veterinarians in the field of advanced transfusion medicine and blood banking. Research and development in comparative transfusion medicine and immunohematology advance the global veterinary transfusion community.
